March of the future - 27.05.2013

Royal Antwerp Football Club, often simply referred to as Antwerp, is a Belgian football club based in the city of Antwerp. Antwerp is the first football club to register to the Royal Belgian Football Association in 1895 and they consequently received the matriculate number one, when matriculation numbers were introduced in 1926.

After some speculations as the mayor of the city of Antwerp was looking to build a new football team in Antwerp, some fans decided to organiize a march to protest against these plans. They would call this march ‘Mars van de toekomst’ (March of the future). Hoping that the mayor would change his mind, and instead of building a new team, he would invest more in their team.
